Bop Around The Block is a monthly, themed open air market that showcases crafters, artisans, and creatives. Founded in late 2020, Bop Around The Block was organized by local small business owner, DeAnna Allen in an attempt to create a unique shopping experience that showcases small business owners with storefronts, in addition to local Pop-Up merchants in the area.  As the event continued to grow, DeAnna joined forces with fellow small business owner Jekia Benson, and together they have produced spectacular shopping experiences for visitors to the Southend Charlotte area.

The monthly programming includes food trucks, local performing artists, and more!  Each event is free for the community to attend, and is family friendly. When you shop small you're supporting a dream! Both ladies wholeheartedly believe in this, and strive to help fellow local businesses, market themselves and share their brands.
